The invention concerns a cover for a pillow or duvet for a child's bed. The invention consists in locating a cuddly toy (2) in the form of an animal or doll at one side and at the upper end of the cover (1), with the head of the toy projecting like a cushion wholly or partly beyond this end of the cover and with the rest of the toy substantially two-dimensionally integrated with the upper surface of the cover (1) in such a way that it remains visible. At least that part of the toy (2) projecting beyond the upper end of the cover (1) is detachably fixed to the cover (1). The child does not therefore need to take its cuddly toy, with which it has played during the day, into bed with with it, which is more hygienic.
