An excavator bucket 1 of an excavating machine comprises a brush unit 11 having a brush 12 which rotates about a horizontal axle 13 and is intended, during rotation, to brush away a small layer 22 of material above a cable or the like after the excavator bucket 1 has stripped off the top material. According to the invention, the rear of the bucket 1 is provided with a rectangular opening 10 which is adapted to the length and diameter of the brush 12. The brush unit 11 is mounted inside the bucket, with its brush 12 extending through the said opening 10 in the rear 5 of the bucket and located in a plane coinciding with the bottom 6 of the bucket. <IMAGE> |
