PURPOSE:To obtain the gold alloy for jewelry and dental use having gold color tone and shame memory function by incorporating specified amounts of copper and zinc into a gold alloy. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. of the alloy is constituted of, by atom, 47.5 to 55.0% gold, 25.0 to 40.0% zinc and the balance copper. The alloy is provided with shape memory function as well as gold color by reducing the amounts of zinc and increasing the amounts of gold and copper. Furthermore, 0.01 to 0.5wt.% phosphorus is added to the compsn. to fine the crystal grains as cast, by which its workability after that is facilitated. The gold alloy is applicable to joining members and holding member for dental use and jewelry use or the like. |
