In order to detect cells with foreign antigens or a modified surface structure in the human or animal organism, the activity and morphological properties of the immunological cells in a blood sample taken from the organism are examined. An activating substance is then added to the blood sample. If the cells to be detected are present, typical changes in the activity and possibly the morphological properties of the immunological cells are found after a reaction period. |
