In a multistage process for optimal utilization of the substances contained in sugar beet, a new special raw sugar, white sugar and the storable by-products, molasses and dry pulp, are extracted. To this end, a first juice for the production of white sugar is first extracted from the sugar beet, a second juice for the production of the new special raw sugar is then extracted and finally a third juice, also for the production of white sugar, is extracted. |
