<p>The brake is of the type comprising two arms (10), which, mounted pivotably, are suitable for applying braking jaws (14) to any member to be braked (15), and a jack (16), one of whose component elements (17, 18) is coupled to one of the said arms (10) while the other is coupled to the other of the said arms, with, on the one hand, linked with one of the chambers, (24), the jack (16), means of clamping (25), and, linked with the other, (26), of these chambers, means of unclamping (27).
<??>According to the invention these means of unclamping (27) are under the control of an electrical contactor (42) of which one part is linked in movement to one of the component elements (17, 18) of the jack (16) while the other is linked in movement to the other of these elements, with, intervening on the link in movement of one of these parts with the corresponding element of the jack (16), means of clearance with play.
