The invention relates to a radiator for hot-water radiant panel heating, which consists of a large number of flexible plastic tubes of small diameter which are joined together to form a mat and arranged at mutual spacings. The plastic tubes are grouped together at at least one end to form connections for pipe pieces which form the forward run and the return run of the hot water and receive the tube ends in a parallel arrangement, sealing at the same time. The mat is reinforced by holding elements which fix the tube spacings and are arranged on its circumference and transversely, preferably at an angle, to the tubes, and forms a flexible net-like unit which can be freely laid in the flooring plaster of a floor and embedded in the plaster of a wall. On both sides of the mat, aluminium foils can be fastened by rolling on, which serve as a diffusion barrier of the plastic tubes, surround the plastic tubes and are provided with punchings between the plastic tubes, the foil remaining between the plastic tubes forming fins which increase the heat transmission. <IMAGE> |
