The installation for manufacturing and processing workpieces (7), especially panel-type workpieces, of any geometry has a unit-carrier (12) carrying several processing units (22, 23, 24) which can be moved relative to the fixed workpiece (7) in the x, y and z axis. Connected directly to the unit carrier (12) is the individual adjusting sliding carriage (25), on the movable part of which (27) is the turning arrangement for twisting the particular processing unit about the c-axis. The turning arrangement (33) has a fixing arrangement (37) for releasable attaching of the particular processing unit. USE/ADVANTAGE - The unit is relatively cheap, simple and space-saving.
