PURPOSE:To keep a diagnostic level constant by making tests by reading out a diagnostic content from an assigned address on the application of a diagnostic start instruction and by transferring test data from a main memory to an incorporated memory. CONSTITUTION:The diagnostic system consists of array processor 1 which has an incorporated memory 1a with a vector register and data register, main memory 2, memory control unit 3, channel controller 4, center processor 5, etc. For the purpose of diagnosing processor 1 in this constitution, a diagnostic start instruction is applied from unit 5 to processor 1 and diagnostic content indication instruction SDSML is read out from address MDP. This instruction SDSML is provided with a clock count value assignment part, save/restore indication part for memory 1a, log-out assignment part, log-out block assignment part, assignment part for the unit state of memory 1a, and results obtained by making tests according to the instruction are stored in memory 2. |
