PURPOSE:To obtain a good synthetic resin foam while effectively reducing the amount of a chlorofluorohydrocarbon used which has a fear of destroying an ozone layer by reacting an active hydrogen compound with a polyisocyanate compound in the presence of a specified low-boiling halohydrocarbon blowing agent. CONSTITUTION:A process for producing a synthetic resin foam by reacting an isocyanate group with a polyisocyanate compound in the presence of a low- boiling halohydrocarbon blowing agent, wherein the following compound is used as the low-boiling halohydrocarbon blowing agent: at least one compound selected from among CF3CF2CH3, CF3CF2CHF2, CH2CF3CH3, CHF2CF2CH3, CHF2CF2CHF2, CH2FCF2CH3, CHF2CF2CH2F, CH2FCF2CH2F, CH3CF2CHClF, CHF2CF2CHClF, CHF2CF2CH2Cl, CH3CF2CH2Cl, CClF2CF2CF2CRClF, CH2FCF2 CHClF, CH2FCF2CH2Cl, CH3CF2CCl2F, CHF2CF2CCl2F, CClF2CF2CR2Cl, CHClFCF2 and CH2FCF2CCl2F. |
