PURPOSE:To perform welding with high efficiency without interference with each other from both sides by placing carriages having horizontal cantilever beams in a perpendicular direction on the rails on both sides of panel materials to be welded and placing traversing carriages for swiveling vertically welding devices on the cantilever beams. CONSTITUTION:Traveling carriages 22 provided with horizontal cantilever beams 24 in a perpendicular direction are placed on rails 20 on both sides of panel materials 4 to be welded and traversing carriages 27 which hold welding torches 31 and swivel vertically the torches are placed on the beams 24. The beams 24 are installed at different heights to obviate interference of the respective carriages 27 and swiveling bases 29. The respective welding areas are freely welded irrespectively of the other welding operation and the overall welding efficiently is considerably improved. |
