PURPOSE:To obtain the toner for electrophotography which forms sharp images and are usable continuously by incorporating at least one of imide metal complex compds. into the toner. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of the imide metal complex compds. expressed by formula I are incorporated into the toner. In the formula I, M denotes a bivalent metal; R1, R2 are formulas II, III, etc.; R4 to R1 denote hydrogen or 1 to 18C alkyl group, halogen, etc.; R12 denotes -CH2-, -CH=CH-, etc.; R13 to R15 denote hydrogen or 1 to 5C alkyl group. The imide metal complex compds. obtd. in such a manner has good compatibility with thermoplastic resins and thermal stability at the resin melting temp. or above, are colorless or pail in color and do not impair the color characteristics of the coloring materials of the color toner. The adjustment of toner so as to be stable to a change in temp. and humidity by repetitive use is possible. |
