Monitoring circuit comprising a thyristor and a looped circuit formed of an inductor and of a generator of electrical energy produced by a luminous event. The loop controls the conducting/blocked state of the thyristor through the fact that the gate of the thyristor is connected to the terminal of the generator whose polarity blocks the thyristor when the generator is in a steady state of illumination. The thyristor is unblocked through the sudden breaking of the luminous event by virtue of the energy restored by the inductor.
