摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce fluctuation of the air-fuel ratio considerably, by starting or stopping fuel supply by a second fuel injection valve under particular conditions when shifting between the mode of a first intake condition and that of a second intake condition is caused. CONSTITUTION:In the state of a first intake condition when the intake air is supplied from a primary intake passage 18, fuel is supplied from a first fuel injection valve 21. On the other hand, in the state of a second intake condition when the intake air is supplied from both of the primary intake passage 18 and a secondary intake passage 19, fuel is supplied from two fuel injection valves 21, 22. In case that shifting between the mode of the first intake condition and that of the second intake condition is caused, fuel supply by the second fuel injection valve 22 is started or stopped only when the condition after shifting of the mode continues for a predetermined while. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to reduce fluctuation of the air-fuel ratio considerably.
