<p>PURPOSE:To improve safety in operation by supporting an 'L' shaped member with a guide slotted hole at its tip arm part pivotally at a load-carrying platform floor member, engaging the guide slotted hole with a guide shaft provided at the end face of a side gate, and locking the guide shaft by means of a locking member. CONSTITUTION:A side gate 12 and a rear gate 13 closable around a hinge 14 are provided at a load-carrying platform floor member of a motor lorry, and an 'L' shaped plate member 15 with a guide slotted hole 14A formed at its tip arm part is rotatably supported at the rear end face of a floor member 11 by a pivot 16. A guide shaft 17 is rigidly fixed at the rear end face of the side gate 12, a collar 17A as a spacer is rigidly fixed at the peripheral part of the guide shaft 17, and the guide slotted hole 15A is engaged with the tip of the guide shaft 17. A locking member 18 is rotatably provided at the tip of the 'L' shaped member 15 by means of a pivot 19. This locking member 18 is formed approximately in sector shape, and its arcuate face is engaged with the guide shaft 17 by the energizing force of a spring, thus locking the guide shaft 17.</p> |
