PRODUCTION OF GLASS FITTED WITH FRAME BODY HAVING METALLIC PART

PURPOSE:To easily and integrally mold glass fitted with a frame body having a metallic part with good dimensional precision by passing a pushing pin of the metallic part through a notched part provided to glass and fixing the pushing pin to a forming mold. CONSTITUTION:Glass 1 is manufactured which has the notched parts to the positions of the pins of a fixture. Then both the SUS molding 3 and glass 1 are arranged between a core 6 and a cavity 7 in a forming mold 5. Both the core 6 and the cavity 7 are clamped so that the pins of the fixture are passed through the notched parts of glass 1. The pins 4 are fixed to the forming mold 5 and the cavity spaces 8 are formed. The material of a frame body is introduced into the cavity spaces 8 through a gate 9 and solidified. Then a window MAW fitted with the frame body can be obtained in which the SUS molding 3, the molding 2 and glass 1 are integrally molded by detaching the forming mold 5.
