FAR-INFRARED RAY-EMITTING CONJUGATE FIBER AND WOVEN OR KNITTED FABRIC AND NONWOVEN FABRIC CONTAINING THEREOF

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject fiber having excellent thermal insulation and extensibility containing specific amount of compound having far-infrared ray- emitting effect in a latent crimping conjugate fiber of eccentric sheath-core type or sideby-side type comprising two species of polyester components. CONSTITUTION:The objective conjugate fiber is a latent crimping conjugate fiber of eccentric sheath-core type or side-by-side type composed of (A) prefer ably polyester component mainly composed of ethylene terephthalate unit and copolymerized with 0 to 10mol% isophthalic acid and 1 to 6mol% aromatic dicarboxylic acid having metallic sulfonate group and (B) preferably polyester component composed of ethylene terephthalate unit. A compound having far- infrared ray-emitting effect is contained in the above-mentioned component A and/or B in an amount of >=3wt.% in the total fiber.
