PURPOSE:To prepare an ultrafiltration membrane excellent in solvent resistance, by forming a crosslinked structure by reacting amines with a fluorine-containing polymer membrane. CONSTITUTION:A fluorine-containing polymer such as polyvinylidene fluoride is dissolved in a water-soluble solvent such as dimethylformamide and the obtained solution is cast on a glass plate while the whole is immersed in water to replace the solvent and water to form a fluorine-containing polymer membrane having an asymmetric structure. Subsequently, the above-mentioned membrane is immersed in an equimolar amount or an excessively large amount of an amine compound comprising polyamine such as ethylene diamine or a mixture of ethylene diamine and monoamine such as methylamine or an aqueous amine solution and reacted for about 3-15hr at a room temp. or under heating to obtain a fluorinated polymer membrane crosslinked with amines and insoluble in various solvents such as dimethylformamide. |
