Aqueous surface-active mixtures containing the following as anionic surface-active agents are particularly well tolerated by the skin while having a good washing capacity and foaming quality: (a) sulphated hydroxyalkylpolyethylenglycolether and/or hydroxyalkylpolypropenglycolether (A) of general formula (I), where R<1> represents hydrogen or a linear alkyl residue with 1 to 6 atoms of C; R<2> represents a linear or branched, saturated alkyl residue with 1 to 22 atoms of C; R<3> represents hydrogen or a linear alkyl residue with 1 to 16 atoms of C; M represents hydrogen, ammonium, alkylammonium, alkanolammonium, the alkyl and alkanol residues both having 1 to 4 atoms of C, or an atom of alkali metal, alkaline earth metal or aluminium; m represents the number 2 or 3; and n represents a number between 1 and 30; provided that the total number of the C atoms contained in R<1> and R<3> is comprised between 6 and 16; and (b) sulpho-succinic-acid-semiester (B) of general formula (II), where R represents a saturated or olefin-unsaturated, linear or branched alkyl residue with 8 to 22 atoms of C; m is 2 or 3; w is O or a number comprised between 1 and 15; and Z and Z', independently, represent an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal, an ammonium group or an alkyl or alkylolammonium group with 1 to 4 atoms of C in each alkyl or alkylol group. |
