PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of transfer data by informing an error response to a peripheral equipment which sends write data when the error response is received in the course of writing the data to a main storage device, and making an input/output interruption request signal sent out by this peripheral equipment invalid when this write data is the end. CONSTITUTION:When an error response containing a bus transfer source device number is received in the course of writing the data, a first bus control circuit 111 outputs error information to the main storage device. When write data is the end, a detecting and comparing circuit 13 is started by error information 201 and detects an input/output interruption request signal from an output of a buffer 122, and outputs a coincidence signal 202, when the bus transfer source device number contained in this input/output interruption request signal coincides with the number contained in the error information 201. A nullifying means nullifies an input/output interruption request signal outputted from a buffer 123 by a cancel control circuit 14, based on this coincidence signal 202. In such a way, the reliability of transfer data is high, and also, the data throughput performance can be improved. |
