PURPOSE:To reduce a time required for gas engine start operation by delivering an engine governor to set voltage for use in driving an actuator for adjusting a fuel gas amount to a target value upon starting a gas engine. CONSTITUTION:In starting a gas engine 4, set voltage for driving an actuator 2 for adjusting a fuel gas supply amount is provided from a control circuit 9 to an engine governor 3, and the actuator 2 is actuated to a target value slightly delayed from the instant of outputting said set voltage. Then, taking into consideration the time until the actuator 2 reaches the target value, the output signal is applied to said output signal 1 and an on/off switch 7 of a starter 6, whereby the solenoid valve 1 is opened while the starter 6 is driven for starting the gas engine 4. After the start of the gas engine 4, a centrifugal clutch 5 is interrupted to stop power supply for the starter 6. |
