PRODUCTION OF ONE-COMPONENT MAGNETIC TONER

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the developing and transferring properties of a toner by adding a specified amt. of carbon black to binding resin and powder of a magnetic body, melting and kneading them and pulverizing the kneaded material so as to specify powder volume resistivity and solid volume resistivity. CONSTITUTION:Carbon black is added to binding resin and powder of a magnetic body so as to regulate the amt. of the carbon black to 15-25wt.% of the amt. of the binding resin and 5-15wt.% of the amt. of the resulting toner. They are melted and kneaded at 50-110 deg.C and the kneaded material is pulverized to obtain a toner having 10<12>-10<14>OMEGAcm powder volume resistivity and 10<7>-10<11>OMEGAcm solid volume resistivity. This toner does not cause electrostatic aggregation and has superior flowability, improved developing and transferring properties.
