PURPOSE:To provide a composition containing an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and a deodorizing agent, having extremely excellent odor-barrierness and useful especially as a film for artificial anus bag. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer having an ethylene unit content of 20-50mol% (preferably 27-40mol%), a saponification degree of vinyl acetate unit of >=96% and a melt index of 0.2-60g/10min (190 deg.C, 2,160g) or a blend of the copolymer and another resin with (B) >=0.1wt.% of a deodorizing agent selected from Zn compound, Al compound, Si compound, Fe(II) compound and organic acid, preferably zinc silicate, etc., having amorphous structure and, as necessary, (C) 5-40wt.% (based on A+C) of an ethylenic copolymer resin containing 2-25mol% of a component selected from vinyl acetate and (meth) acrylic acid ester. |
