PURPOSE:To prevent dew condensation on the outer surface of a body of casing set in a ceiling by forming in an inner casing, at a position facing an outlet for the air from a fan, an opening communicating with a passage for air. CONSTITUTION:An air inlet 8 is formed in the middle in a panel 7 provided on the underside of a ceiling board 5 and an air outlet 9 on the outer side of the air inlet 8. Inside an inner casing 3 a fan assembly 10 is placed close to the air inlet 8 and between the inner casing 3 and the fan assembly 10 are placed heat exchangers 11. The inner casing 3 has an opening 12 at a position where this opening 12 faces an air outlet 10a of the fan assembly 10; the opening 12 communicates with an air passage 4. In this manner a body of casing 1 is formed in a double structure comprising an outer casing 2 and the inner casing 3 and, by passing primary air through the air passage 4 formed between the outer casing 2 and the inner casing 3, the body of casing 1, which is located above the ceiling board, can be made free from dew condensation on its outer surface. By sending primary air together with secondary air into the room, it is also prevented for dew to be formed near the air outlet 9 in the panel and for the secondary air to stay stagnant near the surface of the ceiling. |
