Thermal and acoustic insulation slabs

Slabs (2,3) made from mineral fibres and used for thermal or acoustic insulation are inthe form of a right-angled triangle. The hypotenuse of the triangle has one or more projections (8) and corresponding recesses (9). These features enable two such slabs (1,2) to be fitted together in one or more discrete positions. These insulating slabs are intended to be fitted betweeen the roof rafters. The overall width (b) of a pair of slabs can be easily adjusted to match the distance between the rafters.
