The audio shoe(11) incorporates contact springs (15...17) which are coupled to terminal contacts of the hearing aid when the audio shoe (11) is fitted to the latter. The free ends (23...25) of the contact springs (15...17) are supported by a holder (21) fitted to the audio shoe (11) to prevent their texure. The latter holder (21) comprises an iron limb with a series of spaced eyes, through which the free ends (23...25) of the contact springs (15...17) are threaded. Each contact spring (15...17) pref. has a contact module (18...20) at its free end (23...25) immediately adjacent the point of contact of the holder (21). ADVANTAGE - Prevents texure of contact springs during fitting of shoe to hearing aid.
