PURPOSE:To automatically set the length of a fed sheet by providing a mark when the film is moved, moving a film a prescribed distance after the mark is detected and exposing a fresh film. CONSTITUTION:A sheet-like photosensitive body 10 is wound around the periph ery of a scroll drum 2 for the photosensitive body 1 and supported, and the action of image forming is carried out. The sheet-like photosensitive body is entirely electrified by a charge corotron 4, the all lamps of an ISIL5 are lighted, and the photosensitive body is rotated. Lamps l2 and l3 are put out for a pre scribed time and lighted again after the prescribed time has passed, and the photosensitive body is caused to make one turn. Then, only a part where the lamps are put out is developed and the mark 15 is formed. The action for taking up the photosensitive body is started, and the start point A is set. The mark 15 is read out by an optical sensor 7 and another point B is set. A take-up time is set in respect to the detecting time at the start point A and the point B, the film is wound around a take-up shaft 11 and a fresh film is exposed from a rewind shaft 12. |
