PURPOSE:To obtain the optimum acceleration/deceleration speed feeling when a clutch is connected on the completion of the speed change operation by proper ly generating the throttle opening degree corresponding to each operation quan tity of an accelerator pedal or brake pedal during the connection of the clutch on the completion of speed change operation. CONSTITUTION:An automatic transmission device 2 is equipped with a frictional clutch 4 and a gear type transmission 5, and an actuator device 6 for operating the above-described devices 4 and 5 is controlled by a speed change control unit 10 on the basis of the output signals of a car speed sensor 8 and an acceler ation sensor 9. In this case, an aimed gear position signal TG, speed change operation starting signal Sa, and a clutch connection operation starting signal Sb are inputted into an engine speed controller 11, together with the output signals of the sensors 8 and 9. A throttle valve 12 is opening/closing-operated so that a prescribed aimed control speed is obtained in correspondence with the cut-off operation of the clutch 4, and the throttle valve 12 is controlled so that the gradual change to the quantity corresponding to the accelerator operating quantity at that time with a prescribed timing before the reconnection of the clutch 4 is performed. |
