摘要
In a height regulating system for a vehicle having an air spring suspension, the actual value (h) of the vehicle body (10) is filtered with a short time constant (t1) of 0.4 sec to produce a first signal (NIV1) which is compared with a desired height (h0). The actual value (h) is also filtered with a longer time constant (t2) of 2-3 secs to produce a second signal (NIV2) which is compared with the desired value (h0). In a first mode following an adjustment of the desired height (h0), the first signal (NIV1) smoothed with the short time constant (t1) is compared with the newly adjusted desired height (h0) and a height regulating operation is carried out without any delay. As soon as the second signal (NIV2) smoothed with the longer time constant (t2) reaches the desired height (h0), the second mode commences in which height regulating operations are carried out only after a long delay (td) of 15-25 secs. In the second mode, the system may respond to the first signal (NIV1) or the second signal (NIV2). <IMAGE>
