Central heating on the multi-function principle for heating rooms in private or industrial buildings. There is a central reserve heat storage in the form of a water column in a storage container whose volume is kept within a predetermined pressure, and which is associated with a flow and return of an oil fired boiler, or similar heat source. The container volume is such that the actuating frequency of the boiler is reduced. A pressure equaliser comprises a supply in the upper part and a drain connected through a pressure pump in the lower part. A flow heat exchanger immersed in the heating medium is connected to a fresh water supply and to an outlet for a consumer. USE/ADVANTAGE - Produces bacteria free water for washing or drinking.
