Suspension device for ceiling panels

The suspension device exhibits load-bearing profiles (2, 2') which are provided for the suspension of ceiling panels (1) and are integrated into a horizontal frame structure beneath the ceiling. Provided on each load-bearing profile (2, 2') are one or two upright suspension portions (5, 5') having a free upper edge (5''). In order that the ceiling panels (1) can be easily suspended from below by being tilted during suspension, each ceiling panel exhibits a longitudinal, combined suspension and reinforcement profile (6) along two opposite sides. The suspension and reinforcement profile (6) is provided with a web portion (9) which is perpendicular to the plane of the panel and with a flange (8) which extends from the web portion and runs parallel to the plane of the panel. On its free edge, the flange (8) exhibits a short, angled-off flange portion (10) which, together with the flange (8), forms a suspension hook. By means of said suspension device, ceiling panels of various, e.g. circular or polygonal, peripheral configurations can be suspended in a simple manner. <IMAGE>
