PURPOSE:To enable to detector the idle opening of a throttle valve correctly even if the output voltage property of a throttle opening sensor is varied or the idle opening of the throttle valve is varied by again, by judging the idle opening of the throttle valve by use of a signal representing the flow rate of intake air. CONSTITUTION:Judgement is made at a step 2 whether or not a newly detected absolute intake pressure PBAn is equal to the absolute intake pressure PBAn-1 detected previously at a step 1. If it is judged that the former is equal to the latter, a counter value N preset at a prescribed value Nr is counted down as N-1 at a step 3, and then judgement is made at a step 4 whether the counter value N is 0 or not. That is, at the steps 3 and 4, judgement is made whether or not the state that the newly detected absolute intake pressure PBAn is equal to the previously detected absolute intake pressure PBAn-1 has continued for a prescribed while, and if the state that the new value is equal to the previous value has continued N (=Nr) times continuously, the step 3 is executed Nr times. |
