PURPOSE:To obtain a recording material having good color forming properties, imparting a developed color image having good stability and satisfying other conditions to be equipped by using microencapsulated bis-type 2-anilino-6- dialkylaminofluorane. CONSTITUTION:A fluorane derivative whose 2-position is substituted with an N-p-alkylenebisarylamino group is used in an encapsulated state and desirably has a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group which may be substituted, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an aryl group or a halogen atom at the 3-position thereof and a substituted amino group at the 6-position thereof. When a leuco dye and an electron acceptive compound are adapted to a recording material, they are generally used as a fine dispersion or an encapsulated fine droplet. In general, a leuco dye is dissolved in a solvent (alkylated naphthalene or alkylated diphenyl) alone or in a mixed state and the resulting solution is contained in a microcapsule to be applied to a transparent or opaque smooth support such as paper, paper of fine quality, a plastic sheet or resin coated paper to obtain a color former sheet. |
