PURPOSE:To enable fast interpolative calculation by reading out coordinate values of representative points and finding the distances between the adjacent representative points, and then finding subordinate data when such character or graphic data that the coordinate values of the representative points set on the contour line of the character or graphic data are stored data are processed. CONSTITUTION:When the character or graphic data whose coordinate values of the representative points Pi (i=1 - n) set on the contour line of the character or figure are stored data are processed, the coordinate values of the representative points are read out to find the distances di between the adjacent representative points Pi and Pi+1, and then the subordinate data ri=di/(di+di+1) or di+1/(di+di+1). Namely, the subordinate data ri=di/(di+di+1) is found from the distances between the adjacent points to obtain all coefficients required for the interpolative calculation fast by a table referring method, etc. Consequently, three- dimensional interpolation which is interpolation of high quality is realized speedily. |
