PURPOSE:To improve the safety of steering a handle by providing a recognition means making a driver to recognize steering a rear wheel in a rear wheel steering region steering the handle beyond and dead band, in the case of a vehicle setting the dead band in the vicinity of a steering neutral position of the handle. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a handle with its steering angle within a predeter mined value (dead band region; about 200 deg.) from the neutral position, right and left rolling contact rollers 37l, 37r are placed in contact condition with the first cam surfaces 41l, 41r of a cam member 35, and a rear wheel steering amount is made zero. From this condition, when the handle is steered, for instance, to right beyond the predetermined value, each rolling contact rollers 37l, 37r are moved to right while they roll coming into contact with the third cam surface 43l and the second cam surface 42r, and a rear wheel is steered to left reversely to a front wheel through output shafts 36l, 36r. Here owing to such phenomena that the rolling contact roller 37r rides over a rubber bush (recognition means) 45r protruded on a cam surface 40, and handle steering heavy becomes temporarily, the rear wheel is recognized in its steering. |
