This umbrella comprises a pole (1) one end of which is used as a handle (2), while the other end (4) serves as a tip to which movable radial ribs (3) are hinged along axial planes between an unfuried position and a folded position against the pole (1), and an umbrella fabric (6) attached to said ribs. It also comprises a slide which is slidingly mounted on the pole (1) between the open position in which it pushes against said ribs (3), keeping them unfurled, and the closed position in which the ribs can be folded against the pole (1). Locking means which can be disconnected and which keep the slide (7) in the open position temporarily are provided. Said umbrella can be made in three pieces of moulded plastic.
