<p>PURPOSE:To stably transport a magnetic tape with high accuracy by providing a tape guide having a guide part made of resin at the tip of a guide supporting plate consisting of a metal plate. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head 4 is supported with a supporting plate 160, and is provided with a pair of first and second tape guides 161 and 162 formed symmetrically at both right and left sides. The first and second tape guides 161 and 162 are comprised of the guide supporting plates 163 and 164 formed with the metal plates and the guide parts 165 an 166 molded integrally with the tips of the guide supporting plates 163 and 164 with a resin material. Thereby, it is possible to transport the magnetic tape stably and with high accuracy, and since the width of the magnetic head 4 can be suppressed from being increased, the end part of a pad shifter can have enough margin for covering the magnetic head, and also, the strength of the pad shifter is increased, and a pad shifting operation can be stabilized.</p> |
