<p>The stencil passes from rollers (21) to an inclined guidance surface (23) on one wall of a container within which a horizontally jointed cover plate (30) is actuated by an eccentric rod (36) driven by a motor (33). The support (50) for the cover plate (30) is driven up and down a vertical slot (53) by a rack-and-pinion mechanism (55,58) from another motor (57). The plate (30) is angled (31,32) for lifting and straightened for lowering.</p>
