PURPOSE:To easily execute editing when it is desired again to edit a link file which is generated once by adding a division processing means. CONSTITUTION:The PLC development tool is provided with a link file input means 17 for reading a link file 11, and a division processing means 20 for dividing the link file 11 into a ladder file 2 and message files 3 - 10. In such a way, the link file 11 which is generated once is divided into the original ladder file 2 and the message files 3 - 10. Therefore, editing by the ladder file 2 and the message files 3 - 10 can be executed again, and that which is edited by the link file 11 is reflected in the original ladder file and the message files 3 - 10, as well.
