An optical block (1) has at least one optical resonator enclosed by at least three mirrors. Two oppositely moving laser waves are generated inside it to produce laser beams (15) via the output mirror. Two reflecting mirrors joined by a part (13) forming the output mirror support are placed in the beam paths so that after reflection the beams (19) are parallel to the surface of the supporting part and are incident on it near its periphery. USE/ADVANTAGE - For use with all types of laser gyro, esp. those with three movable piezoelectric mirrors, to enable cost and vol. reduction.
