In a device for depositing a sliver in a sliver can, two revolving plates (4, 5), each of which is driven about its own axis, are arranged in a housing. The smaller of the two revolving plates is arranged excentrically inside the perimeter of the other revolving plate. The revolving plates are connected to a depositing pipe through which the sliver is guided. The revolving plates are coupled by a belt planetary gear system. The depositing pipe consists of a plurality of pipe sections (18, 22, 23, 19, 8) which are associated with the revolving plates and can be rotated relative to each other. The sliver is drawn in automatically by a compressed gas injector (48) arranged at the depositing end of the depositing pipe. |
