摘要 |
PURPOSE:To reduce the thickness of a illuminator by reversing the direction of the light emitting surfaces of adjacent light transmission plates and alternately laminating these plates. CONSTITUTION:A light transmission body 2 is formed in such a way that the direction of the front surfaces 4c of plural adjacent light transmission plates 4 is alternately reversed and these plates are laminated. The body 2 is housed in a main body 5 which is provided with display bodies 6 on both opening sides. A lamp 1 is housed in the main body 5 so that the laminating direction of the light transmission body 2 is associated with the longitudinal direction of the lamp and the lamp 1 is in parallel with the surface 4a which is formed by light transmission plates 4. The display bodies 6 are subjected to diffusion processing and diffuses light beams from the light transmission body 2. Each light transmission board 4 can uniformly emit the light beams, even if its thickness is nearly the same as the diameter of the lamp 1. Since the thickness D of the light transmission body 2 can be made nearly the same as the diameter of the lamp 1, the thickness of the illuminator is reduced. |
