PURPOSE:To achieve remarkable improvement in long-term preservation characteristic, self-discharge characteristic, etc., by selecting the electrolyte in an organic electrolytic solution that is the Lewis acid double salt expressed by a specific chemical formula, and the solvent that is a mixed solvent primarily composed of at least cyclic carbonic ester and cyclic ester. CONSTITUTION:In a battery basically made up of a positive pole 1, a negative pole of light metal or alloy and an organic electrolytic solution, the electrolyte of the organic electrolytic solution is the Lewis acid double salt expressed as LiXFn and its solvent is a mixed solvent primarily composed of at least cyclic carbonic ester. In the chemical formula, X represents B, P, As or Sb and 'n' is 4 if X is B or 6 if X is P, As or Sb. Mixing this organic electrolytic solution with a specific solvent in a specific ratio can enhance their performances significantly. |
