The facing points (24 and 30) of deflection of the first and second belt are positioned on a driven carriage (15) and create a migrating transfer point. An auxiliary belt (20) is positioned on the carriage between the two deflection points and has a drive mechanism that can be shifted between two auxiliary speeds in accordance with the direction that the carriage is moving in.
