PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition reduced in an amount of fluorocarbon used and having excellent properties equivalent to the properties of fluorocarbon by combining 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane which is a fluorocarbon with 1-chloropropane, etc., and cyclopropane. CONSTITUTION:The title composition consisting of either one compound of 1chloropropane, tert. butyl chloride, trans-1,2-dichloro-ethylene, cis-1,2- dichloroethylene and chlorobromomethane and 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane (R113) and cyclopentane. When the composition consists of about 70wt.% R113, about 10 wt.% cyclopentane and about 10wt.% 1-chloropropane, it exists as an azeotropic composition. The composition is extremely useful as substitute for R113, i.e., as substitute fluorocarbon, because the composition has cleaning power larger than that of R113. The composition is hardly changed even when it is recycled. |
