METHOD FOR COLD ROLLING ALUMINUM PLATE

PURPOSE:To prevent flaws from occurring on the surface of a plate in rolling by adjusting the travel speed of the plate so that the ratio of the circumferential speeds of auxiliary rolls to the travel of an Al plate exceed a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:The circumferential speeds of the auxiliary rolls 1 - 7 and the travel speed of the Al plate S sent in contact with the auxiliary rolls are measured, and both speeds are composed to obtain the ratio of rotation of auxiliary roll. Flaws can be prevented from occurring on the Al rolled plate S' by adjusting the travel speed of the Al plate S so that the ratio of rotation of each auxiliary roll 1 - 7 exceeds a prescribed value.
