PURPOSE:To simulate a free and unrestricted thermal image and dynamic thermal image by providing a heating unit constituted by arranging heating elements in the shape of a matrix and a picture controlling means to control the quantity of electricity of each heating element so as to form the optional thermal image on the surface of the heating unit. CONSTITUTION:A thermal image forming plate 10 consists of the heating unit (resistor 20) arranged in the shape of the matrix on its surface, and a driver 11 controls a current to flow in each resistor 20 according to a control signal from a computer 12. A picture equivalent to a heating subject is read by using an image reader, etc., and is displayed by a CRT 14. The temperature of each part of the heating subject is designated from a keyboard or the like as confirming the picture by the CRT 14. The picture of the CRT 14 enables a working person to confirm easily temperature distribution. The computer 12 converts the temperature of each part of the heating subject into the current value of each resistor 20, and drives the driver 11 so as to form the thermal image on the thermal image forming plate 10. By comparing the thermal image obtained by image-picking up this thermal image forming plate 10 by an infrared ray image pickup device 21 and the displayed picture of the CRT 14, the video performance of the infrared ray image pickup device 21 is checked. |
