METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ANALYZING OPERTING STATE OF PLANT

PURPOSE: To provide an operator with an analysis by a specialist system for plant state by evaluating plant state data obtained by using the rule-base of a specialist system. CONSTITUTION: Plant data generated by sensors loaded in operation units 12a to 12n and obtained by a data collection system 14 is stored in a data memory device 16 or supplied through a collection interface 18 to a specialist system 20. The stored 16 actual plant data is supplied from the data storage 16 through a storage interface 22 or through a rule-base memory device 28 to the specialist system 20. An alternative method to obtain the plant state data for evaluating with the specialist system 20 is to use simulated plant data generated by a simulation system 24. The simulated plant data is supplied through a simulation interface 26 to the specialist system 20.
