<p>PURPOSE:To input optional text data and to improve the operability by adding an operation element for a screen keyboard input mode to the pointing device such as a mouse. CONSTITUTION:When a screen keyboard selection button 1 is pressed, a selection part recognizes that operation in the screen keyboard mode is selected and enables input by the screen keyboard system. At the same time, the selection part informs a keyboard display part of an input request and a keyboard display part 3 displays a keyboard figure on the screen. Here, an operator hits a corresponding key with the mouse similarly to depression on a normal keyboard. Then, a coordinate recognition part recognizes the coordinates of the hit position and an input transmission part replaces the information with the key corresponding to the coordinates and sends the key. Consequently, text data can be inputted only by operating the mouse.</p> |
