The present invention concerns an arrangement for parking passenger vehicles in a stacked manner. The vehicles are automatically placed in stalls 2. The stalls 2 support all the upper stalls 2. The arrangement is designed to effect circular permutations of the stalls 2 by virtue of lifting means 9, horizontal translation means 7, and blocking means 10. Several embodiments are proposed for overground arrangements, or arrangements which are attached to buildings, or are underground or partially underground. Finally, the arrangement, which offers a very high degree of safety for the users, can be fully automated. <IMAGE>
